NOTES: A somewhat puzzling example of a not yet functional living root bridge. Exact measurements have not been taken as one cannot (safely!) walk on it yet. The structure is very much part of the Nongriat tourist zone.  Its history is unclear: While the bridge is currently being cultivated for heritage and tourism purposes, the largest roots that form a part of the bridge would seem to be too thick and well established to have been laid after the advent of tourism in the area. The bridge is within a few meters of the more completely formed Nongthymmai 3. No signs of manmade or natural damage was in evidence. Flooding or unscrupulous tourists are possible survival issue.
NOTE: PLEASE GO TO ANALYTICS AND ANALYSIS (APRIL 2017 DRAFT) FOR METHODOLOGIES. LR PROJECT DESIGNATION DOES NOT REFLECT LOCAL NAME.
